Question 2 - How effective is the combination of your main product and ancillary text?

I have been looking at different fonts to use on our digipak, as our performance scene is going to be set in the woods, I've decided to chose a swirly, flower font to use on our digipak as it will fit with the theme of the music video. The swirly font looks very feminine and represent a women's curves. 

To link all our selling campaign together we have used the 'Flower' font from D-font though our website, music video and digipak. 

How professional does the entire campaign look?

By using the same flower image throughout it is obvious to the audience that all the campaign is link from the digipak, website and music video.

What have you learnt from your audience feedback?

I asked some people in my class what they thought about our music video. 

From doing this I have learnt that the music video is enjoyable to watch and does look effective and professional, but in some places our artist could have been a little more confident and maybe we should have encouraged her to be more powerful with her facial expressions and lip syncing. It was great to collect audience feedback after and throughout as we could ask what people thought and add or change part during the making process. Whilst creating the music video our audience told us that it was a little bit repetitive so we decided to add more narrative to keep the audience interested and want to watch until the end of the music video to discover the end result. 

Our target audience is 15 - 25 year old females. As our artist singer/songwriter, is very feminine and has a girl next door appearance simular to 'Taylor Swirt' and 'Lana Del Ray'. Our artist already had a established fan base with helped us to gain ideas though looking on socail networking sites such as 'Facebook' to get an idea who our ideal target audience is.

Digipak Second Composition

Digipak compositions

From the photographs we took at our photo shoot with our artist using photoshop I have been playing around with overlays and light effects to create some images for our digipak. The top one is powerful as it instantly catches your eye, and the black and white with colour makes it look different and more exciting. 

^ This is my first comostition I created, I didn't use our original artist as I was just trying out effects with random pictures I had taken. Also her very bright red hair looks great as it stands out and can be seen clearly though the other image.
